14.2.23 - מפגש רביעי: בין פילולוגיה לספרות

במפגש הרביעי דנו בצמיחת הספרותית הכללית וההשוואתית מתוך הפילולוגיה ובמתחים הקיימים עד היום בין תאוריה ספרותית לבין פילולוגיה. בין ביתר, דנו במחקרים 'מות המחבר' של רולאן בארת, 'האם יש טקסט בשיעור הזה?' של סטנלי פיש, 'קריאה רחוקה' של פרנקו מורטי ו'נגד ספרות עולם' של אמילי אפטר. מנחה הדיון האורח היה יעקב קרויזר, דוקטורנט בחוג לספרות כללית והשוואתית הכותב דיסרטציה על תאוריית הקריאה והפרשנות.

 

Fourth Session: Between Philology and Literature

In the fourth session we discussed the emergence of general and comparative literature from philology and the tensions that exist to this day between literary theory and philology. Among other things, we discussed Roland Barthes' 'Death of the Author,' Stanley Fish's 'Is There a Text in This Class?', Franco Moretti's 'Distant Reading,' and Emily Apter's 'Against World Literature.' The guest moderator of the discussion was Yaakov Kroizer, a doctoral student in the Department of General and Comparative Literature who is writing a dissertation on the theory of reading and interpretation.
