במפגש הזה קראו המשתתפים את חלקה השני של מגילת אנטיוכוס הארמית. המוקד הפעם היה בבעיות מקור המסורות והסיווג הדיאלקטלי. איתי קגן הנחה את הקריאה ואת הדיון, שבהם נדונו מילים נדירות במגילה וכן מוטיבים ומסורות המשותפות למגילה ולספר מקבים א (במיוחד בנוסח הסורי "השני"), לצד אלו המשותפים לתלמוד הבבלי. לבסוף, נדונה ההשערה שהטקסט מורכב מכמה רבדים בעלי מקור ואופי לשוני שונה, ושריבוי המקורות הוא המקשה על סיווג הטקסט לפי אמות המידה הרגילות.

In this session the participants read the second part of the Aramaic Antiochus Scroll. The focus this time was on the problems of the source of the traditions and of dialectal classification. Itai Kagan led the reading and discussion, in which rare lexemes in the scroll were discussed, as well as motifs and traditions shared with 1 Maccabees (especially in the "second" Syriac version) on the one hand and the Babylonian Talmud on the other. Finally, a source-critical hypothesis was raised, viz. that the scroll is composed of different layers stemming from different literary and linguistic circles, so that the difficulties in classification of this text can be explained by this multiple-source theory.
