לימודי מוגבלות/ עומרי טנקמן

לימודי מוגבלות (Disability Studies) הוא שדה מחקר בינתחומי ביקורתי מתפתח, המזהה במוגבלות תופעה חברתית-תרבותית פוליטית. שדה זה כולל גישות מחקר מגוונות ומצמיח מודלים חדשים לבחון דרכם את המוגבלות כתופעה התלויה בהקשר. קבוצת הלמידה מיועדת לתלמידי ותלמידות מחקר (מוסמך, דוקטורט ופוסט-דוקטורט) וחוקרים וחוקרות בתחילת הקריירה המשלבים או המעוניינים לשלב במחקרם פרספקטיבה של לימודי מוגבלות. מטרת הקבוצה היא להוות מרחב בטוח להעלאת התלבטויות, לקיום דיונים תאורטיים, מתודולוגיים ואתיים, ולתמיכה הדדית בתהליך הכתיבה וההצגה של עבודת המחקר.

הקבוצה תורכב מחוקרים וחוקרות מדיסציפלינות מגוונות אשר מחקרם עוסק בתחום המוגבלות, באוניברסיטאות בארץ ובחו"ל, כך שהתוכן והשיח במהלך המפגשים ישלבו בין פרספקטיבות וגישות שונות. במהלך השנים הולידה הקבוצה שיתופי פעולה מחקריים אינטר-דיסציפלינריים, והיא מהווה חממה לפעילות משותפת כגון ארגון כנס או פרסום אסופת מאמרים. בשנים קודמות התקיים כנס מקוון אותו יזמו וארגנו חברי וחברות הקבוצה. קבוצת למידה זו תתקיים בשנת הלימודים תשפ"ו בהובלת עומרי טנקמן ואלכסנדרה חלבני, ובליווי אקדמי של ד"ר ענת גרינשטיין מהמרכז ללימודי מוגבלות באוניברסיטה העברית. הקבוצה תתכנס אחת לחודש בשעות הערב בזום. המועדים המדויקים יקבעו בהמשך.

A Study Group for Research Students and Early-Career Researchers in the Field of Disability Studies

Disability Studies is a developing critical interdisciplinary research field that identifies disability as a social-cultural-political phenomenon. This field includes diverse research approaches and fosters new models through which to examine disability as a context-dependent phenomenon. The study group is intended for research students (Master's, Doctoral, and Post-doctoral) and early-career researchers who integrate or are interested in integrating a disability studies perspective into their research.

The group's goal is to provide a safe space for raising dilemmas, holding theoretical, methodological, and ethical discussions, and for mutual support in the process of writing and presenting research work. The group will be composed of researchers from diverse disciplines whose research deals with the field of disability, at universities in Israel and abroad, so that the content and discourse during the meetings will combine different perspectives and approaches. Over the years, the group has nurtured interdisciplinary research collaborations and serves as a hub for joint activities such as organizing a conference or publishing a collection of articles. In previous years, an online conference was held, initiated and organized by the group members.

This study group will take place in the 2025-2026 academic year, led by Omri Tancman and Alexandra Khalvany, and with the academic guidance of Dr. Anat Greenstein from the Center for Disability Studies at the Hebrew University. The group will meet once a month in the evening via Zoom. The exact dates will be set later.
