The focus of our third meeting was a presentation by Nevo Sagi -- one of the members of our group. Nevo gave us a great overview of his research, in the field of desert ecology. Specifically, he presented on some very interesting results he's come by recently, related to carbon fluxes in deserts and the variables that govern how much carbon moves between the soil and the atmosphere.

We also discussed some ideas for our next meeting -- if the coronavirus situation changes, we discussed a possible trip -- and followed up on points raised in the previous meeting.
