"מתודולוגיה לחוקרי העת העתיקה" (עוז טמיר – היסטוריה של עם ישראל)/ "Methodology for Antiquity scholars" (Oz Tamir – Jewish History)

מטרתה של הקבוצה לקיים מסגרת אינטרדיסציפלינרית לתלמידי מחקר העוסקים בעת העתיקה. קבוצת הדיון תאגד תלמידי מחקר מתחומי דעת שונים (היסטוריה, היסטוריה של עמ״י, תלמוד, ארכיאולוגיה, תולדות האומנות, ספרות, מדע הדתות, מחשבת ישראל, פילוסופיה) החולקים עיסוק בתקופה הנ״ל, לדיון משותף שיתמקד במתודולוגיה. חברי הקבוצה יציגו את מחקריהם, בדגש על הפן המתודלוגי. באמצעות דיון עמיתים ניחשף לשיטות המחקר המגוונת תוך ביצוע רפלקסיה עצמית על השיטות שלנו. היחשפות למגמות עכשוויות במחקר והעמקת ההיכרות עם מגוון המתודות הנוגעות לחקר העת העתיקה, יעשירו את מחקרנו העתידיים.

The group aims to establish an interdisciplinary framework for graduate students who work on Antiquity. Focusing on methodology, this discussion group will gather graduate students from many disciplines (History, Jewish History, Talmud, Archaeology, Art History, Comparative Religion, literature, Jewish Thought, and Philosophy) who share an interest in that period. Each member will present their work, emphasizing their methodology and introducing their unique method. Thereby, we will get to know the current trends in research, perform self-reflection on our own methods, and hopefully will enrich our future work.
