מפגש שלישי - 5/3/23

את המפגש השני העביר אהרון מושקוביץ, תלמיד מחקר בחוג לתלמוד. אהרון הציג את מחקרו המשלב פילולוגיה יחד עם היסטוריה תרבותית והיסטוריה השוואתית. מקרה הבוחן אותו הציג אהרון נוגע למעברי ידע מדעי בין דתות בשלהי העת העתיקה, ובמיוחד ידע אסטרונומי באימפריה הסאסנית.

The second meeting was conducted by Aharon Moskowitz, a graduate student at the Talmud department. Aharon presented his research and introduced his methodology: a combination of philology, cultural history, and comparative history. The study case in Aharon's presentation was knowledge transfer in late antiquity, particularly astronomic knowledge in the Sasanian empire.
