Key Debates in Neuro-AI/ תמנע קלינמן, דריה ליובשסקי, אליהו הורביץ

קבוצת הדיון Neuro-AI  עוסקת במפגש שבין חקר המוח ובינה מלאכותית - תחום מתהווה הבוחן כיצד תובנות ממדעי המוח יכולות להעשיר את פיתוח מערכות בינה מלאכותית, וכיצד כלים של למידה חישובית יכולים להעמיק את הבנת תהליכי החשיבה האנושיים. מטרת הקבוצה היא ליצור מרחב בין-תחומי לשיחה, קריאה ודיון שיחבר בין סטודנטים וחוקרים ממדעי המחשב, מדעי המוח, פילוסופיה, פסיכולוגיה, הנדסה, רפואה ועוד. הקבוצה תתמקד בדיון בסוגיות השנויות במחלוקת בתחום כמו שאלות על תודעה מלאכותית, גבולות ההשוואה בין מוח למכונה, ומעמדו של מדע המבקש להסביר את המחשבה באמצעים חישוביים.

The Neuro-AI Discussion Group explores the intersection between neuroscience and artificial intelligence - an emerging field that examines how insights from brain research can inform AI, and how computational models can deepen our understanding of the mind. The group aims to create an interdisciplinary forum connecting students and researchers from computer science, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, engineering, medicine and more. We will focus on engaging with the most debated and controversial topics in the field  such as artificial consciousness, the limits of brain-machine analogies, and the philosophical implications of attempting to explain thought in computational terms
