תיאור הקבוצה

מטרת קבוצת החברותא היא לשמש מקום מפגש ודיון רב-תחומיים לתלמידי מחקר המתעניינים בשיח על סוגיות אקטואליות דרך הפריזמה של קבלת החלטות. נדון בשאלות כמו כיצד מתקבלות החלטות שונות וכיצד הן מושפעות מהטיות וקיצורי דרך קוגניטיביים, או מונעות מגורמים חברתיים. המפגשים בקבוצה יימשכו לאורך שנת הלימודים, ויעסקו בנושאים שינועו על הטווח שבין מניעים לפעולה, יצירת שינויים התנהגותיים ויישום התערבויות במדיניות. הנושאים לדיון ייבחרו על ידי חברי הקבוצה, ויכללו נושאים כגון קונפליקטים מוטיבציוניים, אפקט ברירת המחדל, דיסוננס קוגניטיבי, השפעת הרוב וחכמת ההמונים.

Decision-making: from motivations to policymaking (Inbal Dekel, Ofer Glicksohn – Economics & Maya Enisman – Psychology)

The Chevruta group's goal is to create an interdisciplinary platform for doctoral students interested in discussing current issues through the lens of decision making. How do people make different decisions? How do cognitive heuristics and biases influence decisions? How are decisions motivated by social factors? Group meetings will take place throughout the academic year and focus on themes ranging from motivations for action, through creating behavioral change, to implementing nudges by policymaking. The discussion topics will be chosen by the group members, and will include subjects such as motivational conflicts, the default effect, cognitive dissonance, majority influence, and the wisdom of the crowd.
