"לימודי ביקורת מוגבלות" (עמיטל כהן- עו"ס)

לימודי מוגבלות (Disability Studies)  הינו שדה מחקר בינתחומי ביקורתי מתפתח, המזהה במוגבלות תופעה חברתית-תרבותית פוליטית. חוקרים בתחום זה מתמודדים עם שאלות רבות ומורכבות הדנות בין השאר במתודולוגיות מחקר, יחסי כוח (מעמד החוקר אל מול מעמד הנחקרים), אתיקה, יישום המחקר בפועל, אופן הצגת ממצאיו ומידת התרומה לקידום איכות חייהם של אנשים עם מוגבלויות. קבוצת החברותא ללימודי מוגבלות, הוקמה בכדי לתת מענה לתלמידות ותלמידי המחקר אשר מתמודדים עם סוגיות אלו. הקבוצה תשמש מקום בטוח למפגש מפרה עבור תלמידי מחקר עם וללא מוגבלות. הדיונים בקבוצה יתבססו על הצגות מחקריהם של המשתתפים (כל משתתף בשלב המחקר בו הוא נמצא), תוך יצירת שיח פתוח וביקורתי בין חברי הקבוצה אשר יעניק מרחב להפריה הדדית, תמיכה והתייעצות בשלבי המחקר השונים. מאחר ולימודי המוגבלות הם שדה מתהווה בישראל, קבוצת החברותא תוכל לסייע לסטודנטים להשתלבות בתחום ולהפצה של הידע הנוצר במסגרת מחקרם.

Disability Studies is a developing critical interdisciplinary research field, which identifies disability as a socio-cultural political phenomenon. Researchers in this field face many and complex questions that discuss research methodologies, power relations (the status of the researcher versus the status of the researched), ethics, the actual application of the research, the manner in which its findings are presented and the extent of the contribution to promoting the quality of life of people with disabilities. The Havruta group for disability studies was established to provide an answer to research students who are dealing with these issues. The group will serve as a safe meeting place for research students with and without disabilities. The discussions in the group will be based on the presentations of the research of the participants (each participant in the research phase he is in), while creating an open and critical dialogue between the group members which will provide space for mutual fertilization, support and consultation in the various research phases. Since disability studies is an emerging field in Israel, the fellowship group will be able to help students integrate into the field and disseminate the knowledge generated as part of their research.
