Sixth meeting (08/05)

We dedicated this meeting to writing simulations in code of some of the scenarios we discussed in previous meetings. We simulated Simpson's paradox and tried to characterize the region of parameter space which gives rise to the paradoxical behavior, and then saw that given a causal model we can use the back door criterion to get the correct answer in the confounded case.
