"חוקרים את הקהילה החרדית" (תהילה גאדו – סוציולוגיה ואנתרופולוגיה)/ "Researching the Haredi Community" (Tehila Gado - Sociology and Anthropology)

קבוצת הלימוד תעסוק בסוגיות בחקר הקהילה החרדית, כתחום מחקר שצובר תאוצה בעשורים האחרונים. הקבוצה מיועדת לדוקטורנטים מתחומי דעת שונים, החוקרים את הקהילה החרדית מהיבטים שונים, ואשר עושים שימוש במתודות שונות במחקרם.

מטרת הקבוצה היא לפתח את תחום המחקר: חקר הקהילה החרדית, ליצור הפריה הדדית בין החוקרים, לחדד הבנה והיכרות מעמיקה עם אתגרי המחקר בתחום. כך, הקבוצה תהווה גם במה אקדמית ומקצועית לדיון, שיתוף בידע ובאתגרים במחקר בתחום זה ובהעשרתו. הקבוצה תעסוק בתיאוריות רלוונטיות, כווני מחקר מתחדשים בתחום, מתודות ושיטות מחקר ייחודיות לחקר קהילה זו. השאיפה היא, ובהתאם לרצון של משתתפי הקבוצה, לקיים בסופם של המפגשים כנס אקדמי שעוסק בחקר הקהילה החרדית בישראל, בו יציגו משתתפי הקבוצה, וחוקרים נוספים.

The study group will deal with issues in the study of the Haredi community, as a field of research that has been gaining momentum in recent decades. The group is intended for doctoral students from different fields of knowledge, who study the Haredi community from different aspects, and who use different methods in their research.

The purpose of the group is to develop the field of research: the study of the Haredi community, to create mutual fertilization between the researchers, to sharpen an in-depth understanding and familiarity with the research challenges in the field. Thus, a group will also form an academic and professional platform for discussion, sharing knowledge and challenges in research in this field and enriching it. The group will deal with relevant theories, renewed research directions in the field, methods and unique research methods for studying this community. The ambition is, and in accordance with the wishes of the group participants, to hold at the end of the meetings an academic conference that deals with the study of the Haredi community, in which the group participants and other researchers will present.
